cake inspiration

It's my husband's birthday this tuesday and i've been searching for a cake ideas to blow his mind. See he's the kind of guy that's hard to surprise and hard to buy for because he's really picky. I'm the thinking a skateboard cake would be a winner but the hamburger cake would be great too..

winter is not leaving us without a fight.. i can't believe how much snow is falling outside my window.. as much a falling snow is beautiful it's keeping me all bundled up inside eating too much banana bread.. oh well i'm not complaining.

spring! ya it's getting closer and closer! this week especially has been busy with birthday parties, tons of baking and pizza making, hanging out with old friends and creepy wax museum fun and oh lots of sunshine xo

shady ate 7 steaks

post virgin! not sure where to start. maybe i'll let you know about my day.. well today i made a tiramisu birthday cake and it was the most amazing baked good i ever made.. and for dinner we marinated a lot of moose sirlon steaks with beer and garlic, they were very exciting..untill my sneaky dog ate 7 steaks! and all the big cuts too! i can't believe how much of a barrel she looks like right now..i'm still in shock.. but there's not much you can do but laugh. and hope she doesn't die!
